December 7, 2012 First Workday!
Today, 50-plus enthusiastic gardeners gathered to begin development of the newly established
Sun City Peachtree Community Garden.
Rakes were flailing, shovels were prodding and poking, rock filled
buckets being dumped, and the construction crew was hard at work making
those beautiful raised beds. The chief designer stayed busy getting the
raised beds carefully placed. In all, the first forty raised beds were
completed. It was a thing of beauty!
The only downside...expect some sore muscles in the morn.
