Sun City Peachtree is an "active adult" community located in Griffin, GA. While most of the residents are "retired" from various professions, we remain engaged in many activities and interests. Among these is an enthusiastic zeal for gardening, shared by many.
During 2012, a "Community Garden" was established to provide a protected location dedicated to the pursuit of raising "the perfect home grown tomato". Actually, while tomatoes are a favorite, our vegetable gardening interests include a variety of typical and some non-traditional crops. Some growers like to intersperse annual flowers for cutting and arranging in the home.
This blog is dedicated to keeping our SCP-Community Garden members up-to-date on happenings and to share ideas and information to make our gardening ventures both more successful and more fun. Even if you aren't a member of the SCP-Community Garden, you are welcome to visit our site and even offer some sage gardening advice you might like to share.
