Free Online Vegetable Garden Planner
Sometimes gardeners are just plain cheap. So buying garden planning software is often not an option for us "frugal" types. However, a pretty good free garden planning tool can be found at the Gardener's Supply Company website. The site offers several pre-designed garden plans, or you can choose the Design Your Own Garden tab for DIY by simply dragging and dropping different vegetables onto the plan. The plans seem to utilize the Square Foot Gardening method, which is actually a favorite way to grow a lot in a small area. Because it shows precisely how many plants to grow in a square foot, it makes planning easy. One drawback is that the design-your-own section limits garden bed length to 12 feet. You can, however, make a second plan for that extra 4 feet in our 16 foot gardens.

Tomato Problem Solver. This site operated by Texas A&M provides a comprehensive and easy to navigate way to identify and "fix" multiple diseases, pests, and other problems that can damage our beautiful, wonderful "home grown maters".
